Vacation Bible School usually happens once a year at churches. Summer is the most popular time for VBS, but it can happen anytime. VBS is normally a one week program designed around a theme. These themes change each year. Many different themes are available to choose from. The church decides which theme it will use. During the VBS program you will enjoy many different things including, Bible study, crafts, singing, skits, and all kinds of different activities. My favorite part of VBS is snack time! Churches often give away free T-shirts, caps, or other items to those who attend. You will be able to bring the crafts and items you have home to show your parents and decorate your room. If you are interested in going to a VBS this year watch your newspaper and church notice boards for more information. Some people will go to several different VBS's each year!
