This is a collection of over 150 books no longer under copyright. They were digitized for
Microsoft by the Internet Archive and donated by the Library of the University of California and
the New York Public Library. They may be used for non-commercial and educational purposes. Kids
Online has converted the pages to images and provided a different way to browse them.
Some of these books are around 200 years old. The English used in many of these books is quite
different from the English of today. They sometimes used "f" to replace "s." Words like "gay" back
then meant "happy" or "cheerful." If you find a word you are not sure of, please ask your parents
or a teacher. If there are any other concerns please contact
mike@kids-online.net. Enjoy your reading!
