I am six and in first grade. I went to El Salvador. It was fun. El Salvador is in Central America
on the Pacific Ocean. We went to a very wavy spot on the Pacific Ocean. El Salvador is part of the
Ring of Fire. The Ring of Fire is volcanoes in a circle around the Pacific Ocean. We ate new things
there like real orange juice, LOTS of plantains and LOTS of rice and beans. They speak Spanish and will
teach you. They call soccer “fútbol.” We went up the biggest mountain. There were thousands of mountains.
It was the dry season when we went there. They have special uniforms for school. Kids were carrying things
on their heads. Some of them don't have any doctors. We helped them get better with their sickness.
