Creative Inspire Readme File ============================ This file contains additional information to supplement the help documentation. Please read the following sections before you continue: 1. Installation of Netscape Navigator or Other Browsers 2. Using Inspire with Creative iNFRA CD-ROM Drives 3. Microsoft Updates for Windows 95 or Windows NT 1. Installation of Netscape Navigator or Other Browsers Installation of Netscape Navigator or other browsers may override any association of HTML files (.HTM and .HTML extensions) in your registry. As a result, Creative Inspire cannot display any HTML page, instead it prompts you to save the page to disk. If you encounter this, do the following: 1. In Creative Inspire, click the Settings button. 2. In the Settings dialog box, click the General tab, then click the Internet Properties button. 3. In the Internet Properties dialog box, click the Programs tab. 4. Ensure that the Internet Explorer Should Check To See Whether It Is The Default Browser check box is selected. 5. Click the OK button twice to close the dialog box. 6. Start Internet Explorer. 7. When prompted to make Internet Explorer the default browser, click the Yes button. 2. Using Inspire with Creative iNFRA CD-ROM Drives If you encounter problems using Inspire with Creative iNFRA CD-ROM drives, make sure you are using the latest Infra Control Panel software (Version 1.03 and above).
