Internet Assistant
2.03 beta for
Word for Windows 95
Support Issues and Update Information
Over time, thousands of users have helped
Microsoft to test new versions of Internet Assistant for Microsoft
Word and Microsoft Internet Explorer. This beta is released in
conjunction with Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 beta. Though
there is no new authoring functionality introduced in Internet
Assistant version 2.03 beta, we have improved and updated several
important components of Internet Assistant for Microsoft Word
2.0.
What's New With Internet Assistant
2.03 beta
Internet Assistant 2.03 beta is for
people who are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 beta and
would also like to benefit from Microsoft Word for Windows 95
as their web page authoring tool. For this release, we have focused
efforts on stemming conflicts that arise between Microsoft Internet
Explorer 3.0 and previous versions of Internet Assistant. This
release is enabled to work with the following language versions
of Microsoft Word:
German, Swiss German, English (AUS),
English (UK), English (US), French, French Canadian, Italian,
Finnish, Spanish (Traditional), Dutch (Standard), Swedish, Russian,
Danish, Norwegian (Bokmal), Portuguese (Standard), Portuguese
(Brazilian), Greek, Czech, Polish, Hungarian, Turkish, Slovenian
Other significant improvements in this
version include improvements to bulleting functionality, HTML
source view layout, more robust character references, relative
paths, bookmark handling, and Java Script compatibility.
