Latest updates:

7/7/07: Well, here's my first update! For those of you who don't know me, my name is Mike Indovina, and I write, illustrate, and publish comic books and graphic novels. I graduated from the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art in 1992. My first published work was called Chimera, a mini-comic published by 5th Panel Comics. Later, I started publishing the book myself (full-sized this time) under the Satyr Play company name. My next project was Satyr, a humorous take on Greek Mythology. After that, I published a few more Greek Mythology related books such as The Grand Tour of Greek Mythology and Hercules: Choose Your Destiny. My latest projects include The Silenus Tarot (a Greek Mythology Tarot deck) and Chimera: The Collection (a collection of all the Chimera comics). At Wizard World Chicago (August 10-12) I will premier my newest book: The Chimera Strikes, a comic book written by me and illustrated by Paul E. Schultz. I hope to see you there!

11/14/07: Well, the convention season went well. I am currently working on a 36 page comic book called Situation Tragedy, a modern-day superhero story set in a world where ancient gods are still recognized. I am also helping out Paul E. Schultz with his book, Serial Squad. I'm doing the lettering and coloring the cover for him. Paul will be illustrating The Chimera Strikes #2 when he is done with his other projects.

5/1/08: Situation Tragedy is finished and will premier at the Motor City convention in Michigan. on May 16-18. I will also be attending Wizard World Chicago on June 27-29. See you there!

8/1/08: I am currently working on a web comic which will feature the Satyr characters, as well as some new ones. Also, I will be at the Mid-Ohio con this year. -- which will be held on the first weekend in October.

11/24/08: Bill Gladman at the Comic Related website did a nice review of my Chimera books. http://www.comicrelated.com/commentary/lifeinfourcolors_081024.html

Also, Tony DiGerolamo did a short but very favorable review of Situation Tragedy in issue 142 of Knights of the Dinner Table..

Thanks to you both!

By the way, Paul Schultz is almost done drawing Chimera Strikes #2, and he's done a great job so far.

And, one last thing: I now have a Comics Space page.

4/1/09: I will start posting Timeless, my new web comic, on June 1, 2009. I will also have a 10-page full-color preview comic available at convetions.

Chimera Strikes #2 is also done! Thanks to Paul Schultz for his great artwork.

I will be appearing at the following conventions in 2009: SPACE (April 18-19 in Columbus, Ohio), Motor City (May 15-17), Wizard World Chicago (August 6-9), and probably Mid-Ohio in the Fall. See you there!
