The Blitz Band was founded in 1984 by D. Colferrati, D. Palella and Carlo Alberto Bonazza. It is one of the most important and best-know bands in Bologna. They have toured all across Italy and Europe, especially in Switzerland and Scandinavia. Thanks to the different experiences of each individual member, the B.B. can perform many different music genres, from techno to disco, 60's-70'-80's revival, as well as more traditional genres like "swing",Latin-american, and "liscio".
