So where have I been and what have I been doing to the site, you ask? Is it dead? The answer is no. For the last year or so, I have had duties at another website that took up a huge block of my time. That isn't on my plate any longer, so I'm taking up this labor of love once again. With that in mind, not only will I be updating the character list and biographies, I've opened two new sections, Book News and Book Reviews. A few items have already been posted to the Book News page, and the first review, of Kathy Tyers' Balance Point, will be added in the next few days.

I have once again been hard at work on the page all day, adding a much needed update. Added all the named female characters from Michael A. Stackpole's New Jedi Order - Dark Tide: Ruin, the latest of the Star Wars novels. There are now biography pages for Lt. Arr'yka, Anni Capstan, Moff Crowal, Daeshara'cor, Octa Ramis, Miat Temm, and Dynba Tesc. Added a biography page for Jaina Solo.
I have been hard at work on the page all day, adding a much needed update. Maintaining this site and serving as the main books contact at TheForce.Net isn't always easy, but I'll try... Here's what's new for May at The Women of Star Wars Home Page. Added all the named female characters from Greg Bear's Rogue Planet, the newest of the Star Wars novels. There are now biography pages for Sheekla Farrs, Jabitha, Thracia Cho Leem, Vergere, and Wind. Added some overdue biography pages: Eirtae, Samoc Farr, Toryn Farr, Greeata, Lyn Me, Rystall, Sache, Sy Snootles, and Yane. Updated links on the following pages: Adi Gallia, Beru Lars-Weth, Mon Mothma, Oola, Shmi Skywalker, and Yaddle. All these were links to their character pages on the Official Star Wars site. Wow... all this in one day. I didn't realize I had done so much. Talk about making up for lost time. Enjoy!
There have been several minor changes around the site over the last few months, and I apologize for not updating this page. Updates included the additions of the female characters from RA Salvatore's New Jedi Order - Vector Prime and the Dark Horse comic series UNION by Michael A. Stackpole. However, as of today, all the female characters from Michael A. Stackpole's New Jedi Order - Dark Tide: Onslaught have been added to the Character Lists.
Added Feena D'Asta, Mirith Sinn, and Mahd Windcaller to the Character List.
Added Rabe biography page (courtesy of Patches) and Queen Rana (courtesy to Jedi Nitess) to the Character List.
I've done a lot to the character list over the last few weeks that have not been posted here. I've added several bio pages, including ones for Iella Wessiri and Mirax Terrik, using info generously contributed by WSW reader Robin Taylor. Also, I have started a redesign of the site, so please be patient with broken links and the like.
Added a link to the bio page for Capt. Alex Winger. This link is more than the run-of the-mill fan page, but the page maintained by Alex's creator, Charlene Newcomb. Thanks for visiting the Women of Star Wars, Charlene!
Added a link to the Sabe page, and opened a rough page for Capt. Alex Winger. The Sabe page is owned by Patches, a member of The Women of Star Wars Discussion list.
Added Jolli and the Pike sisters to the Character list, with a bio page for the Pike sisters. You'll notice that this si a bit different. Where possible I will now list the information used in the SW Role Playing Game. Thanks are due to Jeff at the Star Wars Fanboy Association) for this information.
I've done a lot, but can't remember all of it. Here goes anyway. I've added graphics to several existing biography pages. Several names have been added to the Character List, some with biography pages. Most notable was the inclusion of each of the female Rogue Squadron pilots (thanks to a page at the Star Wars Fanboy Association). A lot of this was sent in by readers, so I will be updating the Reader Contributions page shortly.

Added biography pages for: Bant, Son Tag, and Veer Ta. Added images to the biography pages for: Adi Gallia, Depa Billaba, and Yaddle.
I've made several minor updates to several of the biography pages, but the main change was the decision to add images. The first biography to get images was Aurra Sing. This biography is now more extensive than the others, spanning two pages (the second contains some possible spoilers for the remaining Prequels). The following updates are courtesy of Tony Montuori: Suggestions for the Character List with accompanying biographies: Tanith Shire, Kea Moll, and Demma Moll. Biography pages for: Rhysati Ynr and Jem Ysanna.
Added biography pages for: Amee, Ann Gella, Syal Antilles Fel, Cray Mingla, Neelah, and Sabe. Updated the following character pages: Queen Amidala and Padme Naberrie.
Added biography pages for Aurra Sing, the white skinned female alien seen standing on the bluffs, overlooking the Pod Race in the Phantom Menace. Gosh am I looking forward to seeing more of this character!
Added biography pages for Beru Lars , with a link to a much larger Aunt Beru site, and Mon Mothma.
Added a biography page for Admiral Daala, courtesy of Sara Gregory, webmistress of The Knight Hammer. Updated links on the character pages for Queen Amidala, Princess Leia, and Mara Jade. I also eliminated the pop-up ads on about 90% of the pages. I may have missed a few, and now there are banner ads, but I think this is, overall, much better.
Updated the Prequel page.
There's a lot to summarize. I updated the links page, adding three new sites. I added a Prequel page for this site, and I am adding to that almost daily. I have added quick character bios for most of the Prequel women: Adi Gallia, Queen Amidala, Depa Billaba, Jira, Padme Naberrie, Shmi Skywalker, and Yaddle. The Oola bio page has been updated to include links to other Oola sites.
Added new front page about the memorial for Steven Curnow, one of the shooting victims from Colombine High School, Littleton Colorado, USA. This page will stay up at least until the premiere of Star Wars: Episode 1 The Phantom Menace. Added character biographies for Dia Passik and Lt. Shalla Nelprin to the The Women of Star Wars Character List. These were generously submitted by Dedric Adams. Updated Reader Contributions page.
Added several names to the Women of Star Wars Character List.
Reflecting the way the site has evolved, I have decided to change it's name. From now on, this site will be known as The Women of Star Wars Home Page, instead of Jedi-Callista's Home Page.
Added over a dozen new names to the Women of Star Wars Character List. All these women are characters in Star Wars: Tales from the Empire, edited by Peter Schweighofer. This anthology contains stories from the Star Wars Adventure Journal, and are written by several major Star Wars contributors, such as Timothy Zahn, Michael A. Stackpole, and Kathy Tyers. Worth checking out.
Added several new names to the Women of Star Wars Character List. Updated The Holocron with information on recent publications.
Added the Reader Contributions page to the site in order to properly thank and acknowledge those that have written in with suggestions. This will replace individual entries on the affected pages.

Major update done to the Women of Star Wars Character List. A lot of names were added, some familiar, some not so familiar, but all have ties to other characters.
