Please excuse the clutter, neighbours and guests. Moving in is such a hassle. That having been said, I will no longer allow this to be deemed under construction. I prefer to think of it as a work in progress.
	Well, now that that's out of the way, I guess I'll show you around. I am a proud Atlantic Canadian from Fredericton, New Brunswick.
	Newfoundland blood is strong in my family. My mother was born in Hare Bay and my father was born in Fair Haven. St. John's, Newfoundland was my home for 13 years before coming to Fredericton.

	The One Hundred and Sixty-Eighth Encaenia at the University of New Brunswick was celebrated in May of 1997. I received a BCS with First Class Honours. I am currently working at Formal Systems Inc. in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
Strong emotion separates the living from the walking dead. The intensity of emotion that exceptional music evokes in me cannot be compared to any other aspect of my life. The picture above depicts the two musicians that I respect and admire the most. Maynard James Keenan (left) and Tori Amos (right) performed a duet at a recent concert in support of the RAINN program, which Tori originally founded.

Maynard is the vocalist in , a band that vehemently defies classification. I cannot say enough about the talent and drive of this band. Their obsession with tearing away the veil that society drapes over its ugliness is unparalleled. Listen to them. You will not be disappointed.

Although I am a scientist, in the most general sense of the word, I do have dreams of publishing my writing in the future. Here is a sample of some of my free verse poetry. This could be quite a story, if I start working on it seriously. I will also include this essay on abortion that I wrote for a Philosophy course last term. The floor is open to any neighbours who would like to discuss their own opinions on any subject, including this one.

Writing is a smoldering ember next to my fiery passion for reading. This is indicative of my early introduction to literature, not of a disinterest in writing. There are very few genres that I will not pick up at one time or another, although my favourites are science fiction and fantasy. I also enjoy reading comics and the literature associated with the role playing games I am interested in.
