Now that you've caught up on the background of the show you might visit the Official X-Files Site. Read synopses of the episodes you've missed and view the upcoming schedule. Recently, the episode guide for season six was updated but not all the info is accurate and the synopses aren't as full or correct as in the past. Also, the upcoming episode page hasn't been updated for weeks so you may have the best luck sticking to unofficial channels. The official site also has actor, production staff and character biographies.
The X-Files is now broadcasting on the FX cable channel. The official FX site is supposed to have a schedule of upcoming show titles and dates but the link gives an error message more times than not. The previous link is to their main page where you can search for the latest X-Files information. The X-Files has also found new life in syndication. On October 18th, the show made its syndicated broadcast premiere on various stations in the US and Canada. The official site also has an episode schedule for the syndicated run.
