The Vamphyre Tavern (or sometimes spelled vampire), is a dimly lit, smokey rathskeller of a place. Belly up to the finely polished ancient hardwood bar and order your pleasure, (very few actually pay for their drinks here...and there are NO waiters or waitresses, so figure it out).  There are large wooden casks of blood-wyne sitting side by side with spouts, and glasses stacked beside them, for those who partake, excellent vintages indeed! The fireplace is ever roaring, old wooden tables and highbacked chairs proved comfortable seating, and the tables along the walls are private and dark for those who wish extreme privacy.  There is a circular staircase which leads up to a catwalk that encircles the entire place, from which you can look down upon the patrons in the smokey room below...or walk out through the large old wooden french doors and view the perpetual velvet night sky, the gardens and lake below.
Of course it goes without saying there is plenty of room in the rafters above....be careful about jumping up there....you never know what you might find!
 

It is a user created room, it has been known to disappear momentarily, though never for very long as enough ghosts hang about in the place to keep it standing .....

At any given time in the tavern you will find vamps (of course), Angels, lupines (or wolves), wraiths, elvenkind, cats, shapeshifters, all manner of creatures from the wild, and an occasional mortal....though they never seem to survive long...HEHEHE

If you have ever seen a movie or read a good book with characters in it, essentially what you are doing is creating a character much like that, the only difference here being it is real time, and you create the story with others as you go.  In the world of the Vampyre, or any other creature previously mentioned, it is up to you to discover the qualities, attributes and reasoning behind the character you create.  If you wish to be a "certain kind" of creature, it is a good idea to find out how that creature would act, react, think, feel and do.  In role-play you do just that!...play a role.  The best characters come to live and breath that role, finding places within themselves to express as that character would...in short it is a part of yourself, that you agree to allow to interact with other characters.

Most of this is known to all who read this newspaper but for the neophyte to chat, and or in the case the Tavern, there are some that only apply to this room;

      These are the basic things that you need to know .....others you can find out over time....or ask a friendly soul they  might answer ......just hope they're not hungry.....hehehe
