Where to find a bagpiper for your event
Thomson Chew: I am available to play for you in the Rochester and Monroe County areas in western New York state.
My instructor was Mr. Hector Cameron, formerly of Mount Kisco, New York. I began lessons with him at age 14 in 1978. With over 30 years of playing experience and having performed at all the different types of performances listed on the page, When to use a bagpiper, I can assist you in making your event memorable.
My performance fee for playing is based on the type of performance, the travel distances, and the length of playing time.
A traditional wedding will cost around $150.00 or more. This includes the rehearsal (practice session) and the wedding. I am flexible when it comes to playing more at the event as requested and adjusting to your needs during the event if something changes.
I prefer to confirm the fee after talking with you. Please email me, Thomson C. Chew, with your interest in hiring and include the location, date, and a description of what you are looking for in piping. If you are not sure then I can get back in touch with you and we can discuss.
Your other options to tind a bagpiper in your area include:

If you need a piper near the Buffalo, NY area please contact The British Shop .
C) Anywhere in the United States or Canada

I hope that this web site makes this possible.
Good luck and enjoy good great piping!
