The effect is fairly simple. A black table is sitting with a candy dish on top. There is no one around so the TOT goes to grab candy. Just as his hand reaches the edge of the bowl a hand reaches out of the center of the bowl to scare them. The trick is a video camera hidden in a window and a person sittin under the table watching the dish on a TV screen. The reaction of the TOT's is priceless.
