There is currently an effort under way to bring back a movie and or a television series of the sci-fi classic, Battlestar Galactica. The Colonial Service is now in need of sci-fi enthusiasts to write to the powers that be at Universal in support of a Galactica revival.

Richard Hatch (Apollo from the original series if you did not already know) has been leading the effort to revive the Battlestar Galactica universe for many years. He, along with the help of a growing grassroots network, has laid the groundwork to make an attempt at a revival possible. He is currently in negotiation with Universal, who owns the rights to Battlestar Galactica. A trailer for a new movie or series has been presented to them for consideration. Richard's plan is to use the original characters along with a few new faces. An overwhelming majority of those polled to this point have expressed great interest in his plan over those of others to revive the show using new characters and story lines.
