Who Is This Witch?

This Witch is a 50 year old single woman living in the Ozark Hills in Arkansas. They call this area of the United States the Bible Belt. Pagans,Witches,Wiccans, and Openminded people are hard to find in this area. I am thankful for the Internet which allows me to share my world with others, and to hopefully recieve responses;this is why I put this website together.
This picture speaks to me. It reminds me of me ie: my love of nature and all things there-in, the ocean(which I love to look at),and that I celebrate each day the fact, that I am allowed to chose my own Path. Wicca is not a strict religion in my world and that is what appeals to me about it. One is free to choose and make up their own religion. I am a eclectic Witch. My beliefs come from many sources and continue to do so and rearrange themselves almost all the time. I live by the Wicca Rede. Laws which are included in this web site.
I am a practicing Solitary of 15 years, but I feel as if I have always followed this Path. I would like for you to know that as a teenager I dabbled in the Occult. Although I didn't realize what I was doing I believe that dark souls came to visit me. I had read the Excorist when it first came out and it interested me. I began to mail off for Satanic magazines and such. I eventually began to feel as if someone evil was around me;dark shadows in my room and nightmares. It really scared me so I burned the mail and papers and I think the copy of the Excorist. I have kept my Ojui board though, but the board and the plastic sliding thing are in 2 different places. As a Wiccan now, I do not believe in Satan, but I do believe that there are dark, evil souls out there.
Years ago I realized that I had Pre-cognative ESP, which is something I think we all have to one degree or another. It is when; for example: the phone rings and you know who it is. My personal experiences include: thinking of someone and they come to see me or come in where I work, something tells me not to go to the store cause it's closed & it is, or thinking if I don't put something down or move it, it will end up on the floor. These are immediate thoughts, not something I think and have time to ponder on. Sometimes I listen and when I don't, I wish I had.
My hobbies include: reading, astrology, tarot cards, the Society of Creative Anachronism, listening to music, cooking, sewing, cross stitch, being outside, and good thought provoking discussions. I don't collect anything in particular but I love Art Noveau, Pre-Raphaelite paintings, anything that looks medieval, faries, moons and stars, and cool looking sterling silver jewerly.
