Roger's Space Rides
Over the period of time Space Quest has been out, Roger has had many spaceships in which he propelled himself throughout space to save the galaxy. This page is to commemorate these "space rides"!
The Star Cruiser: Space Quest I
This little ship from the desert planet, Kerona, allowed Roger to get to the Sarien ship from Kerona. The used spaceship dealer apparently neglected to tell Roger a few things about this ship when he baught it. Number 1: It needed a droid to fly it, and Number 2: It wasn't even the dealer's ship! Of course, right after Rog took off, the owner just happened to see his ship being stolen, and Roger from SQ4 just happened to appear in his time pod (VGA Version).
The Aluminum Mallard: Space Quest III&IV
This ship is what Roger found after walking around the alien's giant ship in SQ3 after roger had fallen asleep in his escape pod. He used a crane and spare parts to make it run again and he took off out of the ship. Later on in the game, he used it to defend himself and The Two Guys from Andromeda from Scumsoft's attack ships after a daring escape from Pestulon. And although we never really used the Aluminum Mallard in SQ4, it was still in the beginning sequence
SCS Eureka: Space Quest V
This is the ship Roger received when he got a perfect score on his StarCon Space Academy test. It was a garbage scow, and he got assigned to it because Captain Quirk didn't really like Roger that much. And except for the fact that usually everything was breaking on it, it was a nice ship. Stinky, but nice. But after all Roger did to defend his ship, he had to blow it up at the end.
The Standard StarCon Shuttle: Space Quest VI
This space craft is what Roger "borrowed" from StarCon after the commander wouldn't turn around for Rog's friend, Stellar Santiago, which whom he received a distress message from after she supposedly died trying to save Roger. He borrowed and arm and an eye, knocked out a couple guards, and took off. And later on in the game, the ship gets shrunk into microscopic size and injected into Stellar.
