Hannah met and married Jack Quinn, formerly the
captain of the USS Minnesota
(Falcon Fleet). In order to be together with
Hannah,
he demoted himself to Lt. and served on the Les
Miserables as security officer.
What love will do for love....
On February 6th, Hannah was abducted by Daimon
Shar and imprisoned in
the brig of his ship, the Latinum Express. She
was rescued by Jack shortly
thereafter. Upon return to the LM, she discovered
she was pregnant with Jack's
child.
On a seemingly routine mission to treat the critically
injured aboard the ISS Intrepid
(commanded by Mary Connelly), Hannah discovered
a well kept secret. Upon this
discovery, Dr. Gediman took Hannah prisoner and
attempted to "take samples," to
learn more about Betazoids for his own experimental
purposes. Lt. Ellen Ripleyxxi
attempted to save Hannah by taking control of
her mind while Hannah was sedated.
A mental battle ensued, the result of which all
memories of her husband and
Imzadi, Jack Quinn, were forcibly and inextricably
removed.
Shar began to brainwash Hannah, determined to
convince he was her child's father.
As a part of this, Birtha, a young Ferengi female,
was sent to care for Hannah and
prepare for the birth of the child. Jack persisted
in loving Hannah, and was sorely
tormented by Shar's trickery and actions.
The captain of the Les Miserables was the next
to be abducted by Shar (for his
own nefarious reasons). Hannah lead a rescue
mission to a Ferengi station and
brought back Starr, who was sorely injured. The
Nterprise, the NightWing and the
LM eventually fought off the Ferengi and escaped
back to Federation space. As a
result, Shar was confined to a hoverchair and
Hannah recieved a promotion to
Lieutenant Commander.
Seeking medical attention from Hannah, Shar proposed
she beam to his ship to
remedy the damage she had done. Hannah refused.
Shar then transported her child
to a surrogate mother's womb, leaving Hannah
hysterical. A plot was then
uncovered: Had Jack really conspired with Shar
to kidnap his own child? Jack was
arrested and brought to interrogation by Nickolia
Petravich. Two accusers waited for
him there: Hannah and her brother Crawford (who
blames Jack for the death of his
wife and child). Though Jack proclamed his innocence,
he was eventually carbon
frozen by the Grand Inquisitor of the NGE, Nickolia
Petravich.
It turned out that Shar had beamed the fetus
into a temporary host mother, Tash
Nox, a Trill. The symbiont linked with the infant
(later named Tessa Leanne). Tash
knew that she could not survive without the symbiont.
When the baby was
removed from her and replaced in hannahs' womb,
Tash quietly committed suicide.
A bomb seemed to drop on hannahs' career. The
entire Omicron fleet seceded from
Starfleet, and with them, Captain Blaster and
the Les Mis. Hannahs felt she had no
quarrel with Starfleet, so she rejoined Epsilon
as the CMO of the Infinity. (Epsilon
was re-banded, due to the strenuous efforts of
the officers). Hannahs began work
on a research protocol which she hoped would
help her friend Drake to walk again.
As an associate of the Waten Medical Corporation,
she spent hours developing a
muscular stim unit to help Drake acheive more
normal movement.
As the months went by, hannahs became attached
to a young gangster named
Victor Manchester. Hannahs was drawn to his inextricable
caring for others, though
that trait conflicted with the image he tried
to portray. Slowly, hannahs grew to
admire and trust the young man. (Later, she discovered
he was deep undercover,
part of a major sting operation). After Jack
died (he was assassinated), she became
engaged to Victor.
7 months into her pregnancy, hannahs went into
premature labor. Sometime later,
Dr. Drake O Riley delivered baby Tessa Leanne
Nox. She was in critical condition,
as her lungs were not quite yet developed enough
to breathe on her own. Hannahs
stayed by Tessa's crib constantly, hardly sleeping.
Shortly after she applied for
maternity leave, she fell in sickbay, hitting
her head and was in a level 1 coma for a
week.
After coming out of the coma, hannahs went with
Victor to
Earth to spend her maternity leave with him.
While there, tragedy struck. Victor
himself was assassinated by a bullet to the head.
He died in hannahs's arms....
hannahs. sank into a deep depression, feeling
her life was over. The only one who
was able to bring her out of it was Dr. Drake
O'Riley, now head of Medical for the
Untouchables League, and her own patient. He
was struggling with his emotions
internally, and hannahs asked him if he wanted
to talk about it. He dropped a
bombshell of a surprise on her... that he loved
her....
hannahs soulsearched, and realized that she felt
the same way for Drake.. had since
she first came to the Nexus all those months
ago... however, the flame quickly died as Drake left her for another woman.
Most recently, Hannahs attended SF Academy Command
school, and upon graduation, was given the command of the USS Blackwell
(named after Elizabeth Blackwell, the first woman doctor on Terra). She
hopes to realize a dream of hers~ a medical ship able to serve anyone,
no matter what their
loyalties... (see the Blackwell link on the main page).
Hannahs. is a young Betazoid committed
to the healing and
rehabilitation of others. She has a background
in Occupational
Therapy and Psychiatry.
She is conservative, and a follower of an ancient
human faith of Christianity, choosing
to follow Jesus Christ of Nazareth as her personal
Lord and Savior.
If anyone on the ship or in SF seriously wishes
to know more about Christ, contact
her at nixielaine@aol.com.
Hannahs prefers cool, moist marine climates, with
moderate snowfall
and cool summers. Her hobbies include: swimming,
listening
to 20th century Christian music and "oldies."
Her reading
material includes back issues of "OT Week" and
"AJOT" and historical,
Christian and classic fiction. She has traveled
to Earth, including
Western Europe and a great portion of North America.
She enjoys singing,
possessing a mezzo-soprano voice (and a good
sense of humor).
