I love to travel and
meet people. Here are some places I have
visited:
1986 My parents were driving truck and took me on a road trip to California. They detoured through Arizona and I loved the scenery.
1989 I traveled with the fair to Mason City, Iowa; St.Paul/Minneapolis, Minnesota; Hutchinson, Kansas; and a few different spots in Louisiana, including Shreveport, New Iberia, Colfax, and Alexandria.
1994 I went to Kileen, Texas on Spring Break from college, with a couple of friends. We had a lot of fun in Austin too.
1998 In July, I traveled to Pennsylvania to see a friend off of the Internet; Tony, and we went to Atlantic City, New Jersey and walked on the boardwalk. I saw the Ocean, and loved the fresh smell of it. We also went in the casinos and I had a good old time spending quarters.
1998 Also in July, I went with a friend; Rage, to Georgia. We went through about five states that I had never seen. I loved it. There was so much lush green.
1998 In August I drove to Kansas to meet some friends off of the Internet; Daisey, Pup, Minni, and Jade.
1998 In September I drove to Houston, Texas I went to meet another friend off of the Internet; Brian. Dallas and Houston are so big. Seems all highways, byways, freeways, and every which ways. *smile*
There are so many beautiful places in our country that I wish I could see all of
them. Someday I wish to travel over seas as well. (Scotland/Ireland is where I really want to go the most.) There is so much to see.
2000 In January, my son and I moved to up near Rolla, Missouri. We ended up coming home because it just wasn't for us at that time. My son is my world, don't get me wrong. The town we lived in was very small, so we drove about 30 miles to Rolla to do the real grocery shopping. We swam in the creeks and went to Jefferson City a lot too. We also went to St. Louis a few times to Six Flags, the Zoo, and to the Science Museum. The Science Museum is very interesting.
2002 In June, my son and a friend and I went to Washington State, by way of Wisconsin. We took 90 clear across the Northern States. It is beautiful in Washington and Oregon. If you have never been, take a trip! :)
2003 In March, I took my son, a friend David, and another friend William to see Vicki in Vegas. William is Vicki's brother so he wanted to go if I was going. :D Anyway we drove to Vegas from Missouri. I think I did well, I mean I only spent $.50 on slots. We drove around and explored mostly. On the way home, we took a slight detour to go to the Grand Canyon. It was gorgeous. Pictures do not do justice to the sights. When we left the Grand Canyon, we drove through the Rocky Mountains. MORE BEAUTY!! Then we came back home!
