We will endeavor to present a wide array of Star Wars humor, fun and of course accessories for the Star Wars RPG. This is a FREE site and service run for the fun of it by the members of Ghost Squadron. Any submissions of material are welcome! They can be sent to webmaster Russ H. NOTICE - THE GHOST SQUADRON CAMPAIGN HAS COME TO AN END --- For now
Ghost Squadron was a Star Wars RPG campaing set just prior to the Battle of Yavin. It concluded with the successful Aliance assault on the Death Star. Ghost Squadron would play a major role in the Alliance success at Yavin, but it would be mostly behind the scenes. Check out the Game Updates for details of the sessions.
At the end of the battle of Yavin, unseen by movie audiences, a force
storm was unleashed by a dark jedi on his doomed cruiser, positioned on
the opposite side of the station as the fleeing rebels, as his last
attempt to lash out at Ghost Squadron. As GS made their jumps into
hyperspace the storm was upon them. They vanished into...and did not
return.
Were they destroyed or did they escape death yet again? Who
knows?
(The GM Eric Braun has said IF Ghost Squadron
reunites and returns, it will be during the return of Grand Admiral Thrawn
during the Heir to the Empire trilogy.)
Ghost Squadron is one of the Rebel Alliance's primere fighter
squadrons.
With several stunning victories in major engagements
against near-hopeless odds, Ghost Squadron has carved a niche
among elite of the Rebel Alliance. Originally assembled as a collection of
pilots whose records originally listed them each as 'deceased', Ghost
Squadron was formed as covert team of untraceable operatives. After
showing a complete ineptitude for 'covert' ops, GS did distinguish itself
as a truly elite collection of pilots.
Like all 'outstanding' and 'elite' teams, they sometimes make their superiors wonder if they are more trouble than they are worth.
