Delithita
All she remembered was rage. She had been attacked, and that Imperial insect had attacked Altas, granted yes, he was a 'brid, but he was a Ghost damnit. He had held ground against the worst of the Cybrid attacks. When she saw Altas about to be ended she intervened, and moved in. She saw the coming attack that would have severed her in two. And got under his guard. But then Estri was there. How in the world did she get there so fast? Not even Maria moved that fast. Estri bent over her fist. The anger bled from her heart just as the blood fled from her face.

“So there you are...” The words hit her with a fury she had never felt before. She watched numbly as the imp collapsed with a gaping hole in the side of his skull, brain matter plainly visible. She remembered thinking distractedly that the pain must have been catastrophic. Then the world went black as she passed out.

A sigh. Thinking of things in the third person will not help you overcome your dilemma. No, I suppose it would not. Consciousness...

I sat up slowly and realized my bed was empty besides me. The demon had won again. I have killed two people. A Ghost, and a person who apparently meant a lot to her. Tears welled up in my eyes as I fought in vain to control them. I collapsed into a ball, and cried myself to sleep. I had not wanted to kill anyone. The demon caught me...

“Is it under control?” Maria's calm voice barely hinted at the underlying anxiety.
“I hope so. She has been in such emotional distress these past few days that I am afraid she may lose control again, and we may see some more 'ghost' murders. Why did this fight afflict her so?” Icey's voice was beyond all hopes of being calm. He was freaked.
“Let us pray that she has more willpower than that my friend...”

I looked up, trees. Fantastically huge ones. I was on Earth. I heard birds everywhere. And then the clanging of swords. I looked down from the balcony, and saw daddy fighting with another man. They were fighting with swords. I heard mommy cry out and I leaned over, farther still and saw mommy being held by another man, she was fighting to get loose. I remember daddy was about to win, and the other mean man holding mommy attacked him from behind. Then they hurt mommy. I screamed out “mommy” and the two bad men saw me. I ran inside, and they were coming. I panicked, and ran back to the balcony, leapt off and heard something break. I ran a long time, I could feel that I had broken my hip, but I ran anyhow. The pain unbearable at last, I collapsed and passed out.
:there is more there:
I ran inside and they were coming, I saw a girls face, (my own?) no, there was no mirror, red hair, she saw the mean men coming and ran into a room. :run away sis!: Me and her often talked without talking. It was a fun game, to keep secrets from mommy and daddy. :run away! I will be ok!: The balcony, I heard a gasp, it was not mine. I hit the ground, and a scream that was not mine.
Sis? I have a sister?

I awoke, purpose filling me. I strode towards med-bay everyone scattered out of my way. When I reached med bay, I saw that the imp was strapped down to his bed, and that Estri seemed to be a lot better. They were not dead after all. I felt a little better.
“Why is the imp tied down?” I asked one of the passing nurses.
“He woke up, and undid all of the IVs and heart monitors in an attempt to get to Ghost Estri's side, where he simply laid his head down and fell asleep.” I gasped a bit.
“Can you wake him?” a slow nod and a glare later the nurse was in the room with a syringe of stimulants. I awaited patiently for him to awaken.
His eyes slowly opened, he knew where he was from the slow look around he took. He closed his eyes again, and smiled.
“You remind me of someone...”
“How do you know Estri Imp?” cutting him off I did not care who I reminded him of.
He ignored my question. “A young squire cadet, what was her name..... oh yes... 'Columbia'. Her parents...” growling I leaned in forward closer to him with a harsh whisper.
“I do not care imp....” I began.
“Her parents were killed by a pair of Knights. Ordered by Petresun to execute them as traitors. Her sister's name, what was that again, oh how the millennia make one forgetful...” I was getting furious. “Oh yes, Adriana Galisborough.”
I gasped, I covered my mouth with my hands. My birth name, not even Maria knew that.
“I see she did not make it, a pity.” He reached into a pocket and (how did he get himself free?) and handed me a plastic flimsy with co-ordinates on it.
“That is the last transmit co-ordinates we received from squire cadet Columbia.” With that he fell asleep again.

I stood at the coordinates and saw nothing, nothing but sun blasted rock. Angrily I spun and was about to start for Fantasma again, when I saw a sparkle of something off towards the south.
When I reached it, I saw that it was an ancient piece of metal. Crystal Aluminum from the looks. I dropped it and saw an almost completely eroded debris field. The constant battling for Mercury must have ruined most of what was a drop ship. I came upon a largely untouched piece of hull, and saw a sigil. A ray-traced red wolf. My heart leaped, I looked farther south, and saw the beginnings of a scarp, and ran towards it. I saw impact points of something striking the ground at high speed, the bounce direction indicated the scarp. I continued. When I arrived, I found the ruined remains of a disruptor tank. Obvious signs of a reactor breach were abundant, parts of the dust on the ground were crystallized from the intense heat. I looked around, and saw a space helmet. Nothing else. I grabbed the helmet, and saw the unmistakable signs of blood on the inside. Tears flowed freely as I fell numbly to the ground, cradling the helmet as if it were living. I rediscovered something else from my childhood. Crying is tiring. And sleep claimed me, out on the barren Mercurian soil.
