Geocities
has over 2.5 million homesteaders, gifs for their members,
very user friendly. However, recently they have been a tad
slow, and ther gifs, I have not been able to acess that
page since joining almost 6 months ago, I give Geocities a
rank of 8½.
Angelfire has a
substantial ammount of homesteaders, minimal HTMl
experience is needed, and member exclusive gifs, that I
have been able to acess. Hoever, their help is
terrible, and you can easily erase your account on your
homepgae editor if your not careful, overall i give it a
6½.
Tripod has Free
homepages, and a lot of webtv IRC's are based there, I
havent used tripod before, but, from what I hear, it is not
very good, overall a 3.
Webspawner is a
new player, just minutes before creating this page, I
stumbled across it, and within less than 1 minute, I had my
page, Webspawner has a lot of potential, very new
but still has free homepages, very user friendly, no
HTML expirence needed, overall a 9.
