A man of grace and energy(obsession?), Quenten Wilson, raised in the South Valley of Albuquerque, came out speaking Spanish and dedicated to adobe. From inside the earth egg emerge two adoberos who think domes, arches and vaults are cool. Recent canditate for a frontal lobotomy, Anselmo Jaramillo at the age of 63, still makes mud pies. Tom Leucke, in the meantime, plays in the dirt when he gets the chance. Yes, these three are adults. But be impressed by the look of self-importance on their faces. |

| Two week intensive class with Quentin Wilson. Described in one word: Intense. A miracle of organization, this dome went up in two weeks. This particular dome was made with concrete, steel and petroleum products, not my favorite materials, buy hey, since when has the universe obeyed me. Very cool class, well organized, talented craftsmen, excellent product...since then I have been inspired to work on three more domes. |
