Before we start, there's a few things I'd like to clear up.
First, in one of his books, Kevin Simbieda mentions that he did not include the Haydonite race in his book because according to Carl Macek's game notes, the Haydonites named 'Sarna and Veidt were "one of a kind," highly advanced robots/androids.
In the Sentinels series and book #18 End of the Circle of Jack McKinney's books, he makes it clear that the Haydonites were an entire race of armless, legless, and faceless aliens possessing something called the Awareness. They are also organic lifeforms. Sarna and Veidt were not the only Haydonites, also residing on the planet of Haydon IV were Arla-Non and Vowad.
In book #18, Mr. McKinney also describes guards, technicians, and soldiers; not just two Haydonites.
Second, in the cartoon it depicts the SDF-4 joining in the final battle between Earth and the Invid. According to the books (much more accurate and coherent) the SDF-4 was built after the last book in the series' order, #18 End of the Circle. Now I and most McKinneyists believe the books much more than the incoherent cartoon.
Also, in Invid Invasion Episode #83 or 84, it is mentioned that the SDF-4 is joining the attack on Reflex Point. Don't even think for a second that this is the famed SDF-4 going on the expedition to the Andromeda System. It is said in The Sentinels series that there are classes of ship numbering up to the SDF-7 (T.R. Edwards in fact commanded this particular class of ship). So the SDF-4 is not going to be sent to the Andromeda System.
Third, in the Sentinels Role Playing Game, it says that Janice Em (A.K.A. JANUS M) was one of the Robotech Masters' creations. This is not true. Janice Em was created by Doctor Emil Lang as a spy to gather information about Lynn-Minmei's Lorelei Station due to it's close involvement with the Zentraedi.
