Disease

This adventure is the investigating kind, and yes, again crimes of murder. Alright, the whole mess begin when the group reach the destiny town, in which the muders taking place. Whoever who sent the group will attend them to three men in that town, which as well investingating the case. Those three are Roko, Lucor and Jonathan. All are seemly friendly and helpful. After the group are well met with the three investigators - write your own description for them, though one guide line is that Jonathan is the most impressive, and more dominate over the over two.
The group is taken by the three to the murder case. A mid mansion, of the average population. In the bed chamber, a female body is crucified above the bed. The whole body is covered by black bubbles/blisters, and there is no visible evidence to the cause of them. The female is (daa) dead, though no sign of killing spot (no stab, slit, or nothing), apperantly, Jonathan say, the black bubbles killed her. The body is clean of blood, although the whole chamber's walls are covered with blood.
Her fresh husband is missing, and it suspected that he's blood is covered all over the walls. A bit for the GM: All the while, keep the chars connected with the other three, have them speak with each another and get them closed. Here begins the investigating section:
* If the group will search outside the house they might find a foot print of a boot, but the same boot is popular all over town.
* The killing have been commited in about 1:30 am, Thursday's night.
* No witnesses.

At this point the group cannot do hardly anything, nor discover anything beyond this - except if you have any useless evidence ideas. A week after, on Wednesday, another murder is commited, and the group along with the three is alerted to the place in the morning. The sight is pretty much the same, in similar mid mansion, of the average layer. The female body is again, in the same spot and condition and the room, also is similar. Fresh husband missing. Here are the guide lines:
* The killing have been commited in about 2:30 am, Wednesday night.
* One witness, frightnened neibour. Old lady, which hardly speak could be questioned by the group. And they'll be able to get from the lady is that she saw a man, a figure, running at the time down the street, a large bag on his shoulder. She assume it was a man, by the way he moved and carried the bag. Actually, this is the killer running with the husband in the bag.
* Serial killer. If they notice it, both couples murdered were newly married (both married in the last month) and had no children. With that info and the average finance state, the group could come out with short list of the assumed next targets.
* Finger prints. On the body they could find some finger prints. Now, you might not want to use this evidence if it's a bit 'advanced' for your world.. but if you do use it, have the 'lab' where they'll test the prints in another town.

They can't really catch the killers by these facts only, yet, so the best idea is to wait for an ambush. Here it can be splitted into two pathes: first, they can turn back with the correct evidence - skip down, after the ambush part. Second, they can try and ambush for the next murder.
Ambush: Have the group with the three meet together to investigate. Next murder time is Friday, 0:30. Explanation - Write for the group the two last dates and times one under another. Now, the timing is one hour after the first, and the date is one day earlier then the first, so the next murder will be the opposite. Date on day after the first, and one hour earlier then the first. And the rest - the place, they just have to search for newly married (in one month) couples without children. The list should have two, or three couples, something like that. The group would have to split then, and by the three men they would be told, everyone at each place, that the other is on another... confused? Player 1 and 2 are splitting over two different houses. Roko and Lutor say to Player 1 they are with Player 2 (which they won't), and Jonathan will tell Player 2 he is with 1 (which, again, he won't). This whole splitting thing will happend during or minutes before the ambush, so the players won't have chance to discuss whether the men reached to the other players.
On the ambush time, on one of the houses - you chose, a tall figure will be seen running into the house. The figure is cloaked and hooded, face unrevealed. Whether the chars waited inside, or outside, you can have them alert one another, or not, whatever you feel right for you. Once the chars try to stop the killer, they will be struck with a VERY powerful man and he will knock them out. Once they're concious again, he is already gone, the couple in the same condition as the others.
The return: The group need to take the evidence which they already have and return to investigate it in a 'lab' and there they shall discover the killer identity. On the way back, riding/walking/flying/swimming, the group will be surprisingly (after a few days ride) surrounded by Roko, Lutor and Jonathan. One of the group members will suddenly notice on another a black bubble. Jonathan smiles. The three's saddles carrying bags with body parts peeking out. The group flees. From this on, it is completly to your judgment. You can have the group having a tough ride home, encountering all kinds of things, and once, then, encountered by the three. The group will kill them finally and return to home town to bring the evidence. You can leave the case of the three open for the chars to think of, or tell them they all became to one man, powerful and evil, murdering to no reason but pleasure.. whatever you wish. Good luck.
