The Soyuz-class starship was a vessel type introduced in the late 23rd century, a heavy modification of the Miranda-class. This is an exploratory variant, featuring a larger shuttlebay and cargo bay, as well as several external sensor pods. Although the Soyuz-class was withdrawn from service in 2288, the USS Bozeman, a starship of this class, was lost in temporal causality loop for 90 years, and when it re-emerged in 2368 it was subsequently receritfied for duty. The Bozeman participated in the battle against the Borg of 2373.
