A viking who pillaged through lands of Scotland for 800 years, he was the first Immortal that Duncan MacLeod ever encountered. MacLeod defeated him in battle and buried Kanwulf's sacred battle axe. In present day Scotland, Kanwulf assumed the identity of a Catholic priest and robbed graves in search of his prized weapon.
