Latinum, grace my palms
Favor me in my dreams,
Pity the poor Hew-mon
Caught in my schemes.

The Aging Nagus

It's as plain as my lobes, as you can see
I'm not as greedy as I used to be.
The fire doesn't burn as once it did,
That lust for Latinum, when I was a kid.
Now I spend my days watching my back,
They want this job, so I know they'll attack,
But they'll learn one lesson, and learn it hard,
I have enough Latinum for Naussican guards.

--Ed Toler

Ode to Ishka, by Zek

My heart begins to quicken as you come in from the rain.
My mind begins to thicken as though I were insane.
I have new jewels for your lobes if you can find the room,
And, even though you're wearing clothes, it hasn't caused our doom.
The Alliance would be broke by now if it weren't for your skill.
You got me off the Beetle snuff before it made me ill.
You mean everything to me, more than Latinum or power;
My love I'll give to you for free, instead of charging by the hour.

--Grand Nagus Zek (aka Ed Toler) Here's another one from our friend Ed. :)

Alas, the folly, that drives my greed
Sorrow, the sign I did not heed
Heartbreak is all that I will ever feel
I lost my lobes in a business deal
