Rutger Hauer, in Ladyhawke, plays Etienne Navarre, or, aka Navarre. Etienne is French for the name Steven. I know this cuz there was a guy named Steven in my French class last year and the teacher called him Etienne and told us why...then he transferred out. ANYWAY....
Mr. Hauer has quite a following on the 'net, unlike Matthew Broderick, the movie's other male star, and I have included links to some of these sites. I would also like to add that I really enjoyed Rutger in Blade Runner...which, all things considered, was an OK movie, even a good movie, grossness and nudity aside.
