The Model Kit

The kit was purchased from Monsters-in-motion for $125 and came in 8 resin pieces.The kit is in 1/5th scale and included the base and backdrop, but not the nameplate, chain, or lock, those items I scratchbuilt.The kit was assembled and primed, then finished with an aztec airbrush using liquitex and tamiya acrylics, and detailed with a brush using humbrol and testors enamels.The nameplate ( see bubcam ) was carved in balsa foam using a tracing of the videobox as a guide, then I made an rtv mold and cast it in resin.If anyone needs one let me know. The kit took 4th place in a local hobbyshop contest ( Damn...jesse james never robbed people like that! ). This was my 3rd figure kit.
