Welcome to the collected poems of
SCHNUFFY CUMMERBUND
The cry went out |
Behind the walls |
A glint of iron |
Talbot Dabbings Gathering his men Will eer they see The Trace again |
Krovlin campfires |
His deathcry sounds |
Brave Halflings march Oer ice-covered ground Planning to rescue The besieged town |
A Halfling Wizard Casts a light Ten thousand krolvins A fearsome sight |
A final parry Captains final best Dabbings falls Pierced through the breast |
Halflings creeping |
Talbot mutters As if to himself Must rescue them all, Down to an Elf" |
Tho teary-eyed, |
The cry went out In Icemule Trace At Arms, At Arms, Make haste |
As Halflings watched |
Routed from |
Talbot Dabbings |
Stealthily our troops Draw near In the fracas, Krovlins dont hear |
Halfling, Dwarf, Elf, Giantman Side by side and Hand in hand |
Brave Halflings march |
Talbot hides Behind a barrel He lets loose a scream Sounding quite feral |
The threat is gone The Landing freed Good men have died Heroes indeed |
Halflings creeping |
The Krolvin Captain |
Halflings bear |
The Landing Gates Once opened wide Now standing drawn Inside they hide |
The Allies rally At Dabbings cry Krolvins left and right Begin to die |
His name recall A statue stands Talbot Dabbings Savior of the Lands |
What are halflings made of?
You might think theyre made of Tarts and rum Of bounces and giggles And bundles of fun. |
|||
You may think theyre fluffy And filled with good will with laughter and humor, They never could kill. |
|||
But halfings are crafty Theyre tough and theyre smart. The smiles and the laughter, Theyre only one part |
|||
For halfings have backbones And courage to spare Youre foolish by thinking Theyre nothing but hair. |
|||
And know this before you Come up to the Trace, That cute little Tart-eater Sets some rugged pace. |
|||
So spoil your new allies With blue berry tarts Realizing that halflings Have THE biggest hearts |
