One should feel honored and special to have been blessed by God to have two such lovely and wonderful daughters. After many trials and errors in my life my God gave me my treasures. Jinna and Raederle.
Jinna is twenty-seven (27) years old and was born on January 1, 1979. She was the New Year's Baby for 1979 of Johnson City, Tennessee. After waiting fifteen years this miracle was born and made the front page of the Johnson City Press newspaper. All through her school years she excelled and was an honor student every year. In the High School Band (Betsy) she played the mellophone, clarinet and flute. She was in the French Club and was in the National Honor Society. She received an award for highest GPA in Chemistry and attained an Academic Scolarship.
Jinna spent her Freshman and Sophmore year at Millgan College, a private christian college in Elizabethton, Tennessee and then attended East Tennessee State University on an Academic Merit Scholarship graduating Magna Cum Laude. She majored in English and History and plans on getting her masters in Library Sciences some day (took a small break and had two children, Ember and Isaac. She made the Dean's list every semester. She also worked in the Library at the Milligan College and ETSU for her APS hours. She also worked at the Johnson City Public Library part time during her college years for the fees and books.
Jinna was very active at Grace Baptist Church. She was in the orchestra at church and played the clarinet and flute. Her hectic studies and working keeps her from enjoying a lot of extraciricular activities anymore. She use to be involved in a Puppet Ministry called Stuffed with Grace which traveled to other churches, nursing homes and special christian events.
Jinna hobbies are on hold at the momemt but she is an avid reader and write fantasy novels and loves anime (favorite character is Vegeta). Jinna likes quest video games, Final Fantasy being her favorite. She collects and adores turtles and loves cats. She played Basketball ever since kindergarten and through her junior year in high school. She also played softball from the age 9 till she started college.
Jinna married a nice young man on September 22, 2000. She has a beautiful little girl Ember Autumn Burmmitt, November 3, 2002 and Isaac George Brummitt who was born July 14, 2004.
Her favorite cartoon character is Taz.
Raederle is twenty-five (25) years old. She was born on April 27, 1981. She is a graduate from East Tennessee University. All through her school years and in High School she was an Honors student, ranked 6th in her class of 232 having a 3.94 GPA in her senior year. She was in National Honor Society, and received the distinction of a 6 (the highest rating possible) on the Writing Assessment Test. Rae also received an award for the highest GPA in Anatomy and Microbiology. She was in her High School band called the Betsy Band which has won numerous awards at nationwide competitions. She was also in the French Club, and help to start a Underground Literary Magazine at her school which she helped write and edit.
In the summer of (1998) Raederle went on a EF Tour with other students in her French class to Paris, France. It was an exciting time and she enjoyed it immensely. It has made an instense impression on her and opened her to the world of art and it's ultimate beauty. She can not wait to return to Europe some day.
Raederle also was active at the Grace Baptist Church. She played the trumpet in the orchestra and the same as her sister has had to stop her extraciricular activites due to heavy studies and work at college.
Raederle's aspirations in life are to become a fantasy writer. She majored in English with a minor in Women's Studies. She received an Academic Performance Scholarship and also received Sam Walton Good Citizenship Scholarship. For her APS work hours she did the computer web design for the English Department at ETSU.
Raederle is attending the University of Oklahoma starting in the fall of 2003. She has accepted a position to teach Freshman English and will also pursue her masters at the same time. She is due to graduate in Spring of 2007.
Raederle's hobbies are writing, reading and drawing (mostly anime characters and other fantasy characters). She loves quest video games, Chrono Trigger is her favorite. She also played basketball from kindergarten through high school. Raederle's favorite sport was fastpitch softball, she was a first baseman and powerhitter. In the last game of her Senior Girl's Little League she hit two over the fence, one was considered an out of the park homerun, the other they only gave her a double *BOO!*.
Her favorite cartoon character is the Marvin the Martian. She is an avid viewer of the X-files, Farscape, Dark Angel, Digimon, and loves Japanese anime (no dubs please) which drew her to taking many Japanese classes.
