THE SUPERNATURAL
So you know that feeling you get when you think your being
. That feeling you get when you hear something in the night darkness. Is it a Ghost? Maybe Death? We will see.
Word to all
Well I only know the bible the best so I will be quoting from it. As many of my friends know, I have studied other religions, but still belive the bible falls true. These are some of the verses I have found to say that the supernatural is both true and false. This is coming out of the King James Version of the Bible so read it for yourself.
Ghost
Ghost, spirits,ect... whatever there name is, it haunts up a mental pic. of a past dead person that can now be talked to. But how can this be? Are they not dead? Can there souls be immortal?
Starting in 1 Timothy 6:16 it says; "Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see; to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen."
It says that only who hath dwelled in the light, which no man hath. But that's not all turn with me to Job 4:17, it says; "Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his maker?" I think not. I know that I'm no where near as pure as my maker.
Ok that says that we are not immortal. But I would guess that I still have some disbelivers. Lets see the conditions of death. Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6 says, "For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. VS.6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun."
Or how about Psalm 146:3, 4 says, "Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. VS 4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish."
Jesus referred to the condition of man in death as one of sleep. Turn with me to John: 11:11-14 says, "These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. VS 12 Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well. VS 13 Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking a rest in sleep. Vs 14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead."
Ok that tells the most part of this page. I'll finish the page soon.
