For a Lost Friend

I remember him when he was my truest friend.
A comrade, a teacher, loyal to no end.
A world and a new war away from the past,
His Spark was corrupted and my friend became enemy mine.
Trapped and warped inside a dull mind,
The newly twisted Spark obliterated everything in sight.

And even when the Matrix touched his heart ...
Wiping away the facade of ignorance and doubt ...
The once gentle Spark raged inside that dark machine.

A war was planned and a new order to be made real,
Casting an ominous shadow over unknowing Maximal flesh and steel.
And when the secret was finally revealed,
That Tankor was Rhinox and did not care ...
I realized then that there was no hope ...
When the best of us turned to the smoldering Pit.

Optimus decided it best that Rhinox be left alone,
To decide what was best on his own.
But that decision, although right and true ...
Caused more pain and suffering in the end ...
Than Cybertron ever knew.

He is gone now, my friend (yes, friend) Rhinox.
A Maximal still in the end,
Realizing the horrible wrong he had wrought,
Restoring his true Spark.

I will miss him dearly,
And carry his memory always in my heart,
Letting his corruption and redemption serve ...
As a reminder of who we all really are.

The Longing

I have stood on this planet for so very long.
Dreaming of my homeworld, glorius Cybertron.
Longing for a time when all were one ...
United we stood, until the awakening of the dark dawn.

Now we have fought against each other for millions of years.
The hatred burning firecely, brightly, in each of our Sparks.
And as I now look upwards to the stars shining overhead ...
I wonder if my longing, now diminshed ...
Is a thing of the past.

Once In A Million Years

So very often I call out to you.
So very often I await your response.
In pain and suffering,
I reach out with my hand and my heart.
And I wish, this once in a million years ...
You would answer me, tell me in your own loving voice ...
I am here.

Forever War

From the ashes of the fallen God,
They rose.
Thrust into the battle,
They could never avoid.

Children of darkness and light,
Never can find the middle road,
Destiny calls them to arms,
And they march on ... in the Forever War.

Instruments and pawns they prove,
Much greater than their design.
In truth each knows deep inside,
They will strive, in this conflict, to rise whole.

The titles and the names,
Have blurred into something more.
The intricacies of the great design,
Burnt away ... in the Forever War.

The pain and the suffering,
Eons old.
Autobots and Decepticons, Maximals and Predacons,
Fighting, tearing, eating away their very souls.

In the midst of this darkness,
Through the swirling sea of hate.
One must wonder how one will be all,
In this great ... Forever War.

Song of the Matrix

Whispers of Heroes,
Long Before ...

Secrets of the Future,
Revealed To Unknown ...

The Chant of the Murdered,
Ring True To All ...

The Song of the Matrix,
Burns In Your Heart.

Song of the Ages,
Eloquent Universal Truth ...

Resonates Throughout,
Eternity's Bloom ...

Shining Beacon,
Illuminates Hope For All ...

Transformed By the Creator,
Until One Are All.

CounterPoint

I hope that the world is good and true
I pray to my God that his will be done
I wish to believe that our race can someday be One

I wish nothing more than destruction
Opression and crush all that stand before me
I wish for nothing more than to be the ruler of All

Why has the fighting continued?
Why does the blood always flow?
Why must I see these visons of dread
Forever More?

Why do they continue to fight?
Why do they not accept my plans?
If only they would bow down before me
Their pain would surely cease?

In my heart I see the future
In my soul I feel the pain cease
In the Matrix All Are One
Peace rules and the suffering finally
... Ends

Glorious truimph awaits me
Obliteration is the reward of my enemies
I reign and the might is beautiful
And at destinies twilight, their suffering,
Their arrogance
... Ends.
