Hey look, it's March! Maybe I'll update more! (Yeah
right) Please check back often, you never know!
21 April, 2000 3:27am Oh wow. I am sorry. The journal thing just hasn't been
going recently... I've been busy at work and just plain tired and really
my life has been pretty goddamn boring other than the usual stress over
financial burdens and my crap car and the thought of leaving home, etc
etc etc. My car is out of order again. Though it might be something
really simple. I dunno. I'll find out once I have some cash.
Speaking of, the IRS owes me just a little, like $600+, which will come
in quite handy thank you. Oh, I took some new pictures. here
they are. Nothing too too special, but fun nonetheless. Looking at the last entry (which I left here in April's entries
so there'd be more here), I said I'd say what happened with the second
computer. Turned out the motherboard was at fault, so instead of
a second computer, I put the best parts into my existing one. Got
me a faster CPU, extra HD space (thank god), faster cd-rom drive, etc.
Someday :) Anyhoo, I'm exhausted. I have tomorrow off work so maybe
I'll make myself write more stuff. Don't believe that though, I'll
probably squander the whole day doing crossword puzzles and watching pokemon
and sleeping. :)
28 March, 2000 3:57pm I've been to Oregon and back since I've last written. I had
a very good time. Thursday and Friday we were at the beach, Friday
I met Brad's friends, Saturday we went to his parents house, sunday we
took a scenic drive, and Monday we wandered downtown and I came home.
I have written a more detailed description of my trip, which you can find
and read right
here! Looks like my dad is leaving tomorrow to go to California for one
day. He leaves tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday) and comes back at about
midnight on Thursday night. He's supposed to learn everything he
can about programming a kind of computer that he's never even seen the
insides of or anything. Well good thing they're giving him a whole
day then! *snort* Today I am going to attempt to play with the hard drives that Brad
sent me home with. I need to take this one out of my computer, put
another one in, install Win98, take it out, and plug it into the other
computer, whose motherboard we are uncertain about) and see what happens.
Please work please work please work. I'll let you know what happens.
