Service Friends I Cannot Forget
|
The friends I had while in the military have always been very important to me. They include my classmates from the Naval ROTC Unit at UCLA, the enlisted men and officers who helped train me as a Marine and with whom I shared combat.
But I seem to have a tragic fault: as much as I depended on their friendship at the time, I allowed myself to lose track of them once I left active duty. I forgot them for a time, and time passed us by. Years later I began to think of them and the ways they helped me then. If it could only be again as it was.
If you have any information on anyone listed here, I would be grateful to hear from you.
