The forget-me-nots have spread
like mad in our garden. This year they have created a cloud of blue flowers all along our
rock wall. and garden bed. These flowers were here when we moved into our house and we
have let a few go to seed every year. After the flowers have finished blooming, we do cut
back the ones in the front of the beds as they can get quite tall.
That's one of our
dogs, Kodi lounging in the background.
A picture of our rock wall just beginning to bloom. Our pond is in the
background. We have a small water fall and 8 huge comet goldfish.
The brilliant purple of
the Money Plant or Honesty (Lunaria annua) is my favorite color I think.
In this picture you can see a
Money Plant surrounded by forget-me-nots. In the top center of the picture you can see the
fan-like foliage of a lupin which will probably bloom in May. The tall spikey leaves are
irises and tiger lilies just poking up their leaves.
