My name is Georgiana Kurtz. My first name, however, usually gets truncated to Georgi. My home is in Lakeland, between Tampa and Orlando in central Florida. I'm married to a pharmacist; we have one daughter, a student at the University of Minnesota .  My work is mainframe computer programming at Polk Community College in Winter Haven.
                                                   

Outside of work, my main interest is in technical and creative writing.  When I'm not working, writing, or reading (sometimes when I am), I like to be outdoors. Central Florida is a good place for that, year-round.  My favorite outdoor activities are walking/hiking and kayaking.  I own a Necky Kyook touring kayak that I have renamed Peapod.  I also own a Dagger Tybee named Peapod 2.
