LOOKING THROUGH THE WINDOW
Looking through the window at the washing blowing on the line,
As the wind blows with strength and the sun does brightly shine,
And there are others lines with washing waving in the breeze,
And within an hour the clothes are fresh and dried with ease.
Looking through the window watching the birds flying by,
Wondering what they see and think as they fly so high,
Wanting for a moment to soar on silent outstretched wing,
So marvel even more as we see each precious little thing.
Looking through the window at the lake gleaming in the light,
See the lofty trees and marvel at the great gift of our sight,
To see the smile on a childs face and love-light in caring eyes
What ever we stop and gaze at let us give thanks for this prize.
