A GIFT
Beauty is a gift that we can see in almost anything
If the beholder can gaze, a new dimension bring
Upon scenes placed before them find beauty of its own,
From derelict buildings to a castle with a gilded throne.
In ruins there is character showing suffering, hurt and pain,
Old memories stirring, finding good thoughts that remain,
Imagine what it looked like once when in splender it stood,
Or imagine a dirty river before when free from scum and mud.
See in an angry storm the great strength, power and might,
Feel pain for some tiny creature thats in an awful plight,
Lend a helping if you can see beauty struggle there,
Place it out of danger and therefore show some care.
Beauty we should always see for nothing but sin is ugly,
Outward attractions can often deceive us to a great degree,
So look deep into a soul of all things that are around
And in all things good true beauty will be ever found.
