My Wish-List
I have been gently chided by my friends and family for having such an out-of-date and generally sucky wishlist. It's still sucky, but i have at least removed things i already got. It only took me 3 or 4 years (again), but I have finally updated it as of 11/2/2008. Next time, I'll do an amazon wishilist. For now, thougth:
Books:
Sci-fi/Fantasy is my preferred genre, but
I've been know to enjoy lots of other books, too. I know i want to
read:
The Assassin King, by Elizabeth Haydon
The Ultimate Ice Cream Book by Bruce Weinstein
All of Alton Brown's Cookbooks EXCEPT
Novels of any kind in Spanish, especially book 6 of Harry Potter
Beyond those, I can say that I prefer to read entire series' once they are completed, so those 'special editions' that have, like, every book in the series in them are EXCELLENT
Clothing/Jewelry:
I
need kid-friendly stuff right now. Wash-n-wear, and not easily
tugged, torn, etc. Patterns are good because they hide snot and food
stains... I know, I know... you didn't want that image, but it's a
reality. Think how I feel!
Lane Bryant T-shirts or other Wintery tops: Size 18-20
Lane Bryant Jeans: "Red Triangle" Size 3 (I love the new sizes!!)
Earrings, either with gold posts or hypo-allergenic ones.
Rings: size 7.5
Gift certificates:
I
love to shop at some stores, so gift certificates to them gives me
the gift of fun shopping as well as whatever I get!
Charles Penzone Salons
Lane Bryant
Michael's, Jo-Ann etc, or any other craft store
Prizm, the Artist's supply store
Babysitting, Laundry, filing, and other household help. :-)
Fun, exotic restaurants.
Charities:
The best
gifts are gifts to the heart. Rather than buying me something, please
feel free to make a donation in my honor to one of the following:
James Cancer Clinic
Hospice of Delaware
Miscellaneous:
Sonicare Toothbrush
Art Lessons
Movie Gift Certificates
Pottery
Rocks
Natural-type wood boxes
Craft Supplies
CHOCOLATE!! I am a bit of a chocolate connoisseur! Seriously, Chocolate is an excellent gift for me, day or night, any time of year. Now, not just any chocolate, but the deepest, darkest stuff you can find, like Lindt 80% dark, Noire, Dagoba, or the new Godiva “G” Collection. None of that milk stuff in there, just good, pure, dark, bittersweet, richer than rich Chocolate. Except, well, not 99%. 65-90%, but it does have to have SOME filler in there. Eleanor Proved me Wrong on that one. :D e.
So, folks, there you have it! My somewhat better wishlist. I hope it's helpful!
