I am delighted you stopped by to visit our family. This is my first go at doing a web site and I am quite excited at how things are going. If you stopped by before you are noticing some very big changes. I have been giving my hand at designing some of my own graphics and backgrounds and I am having lots of fun doing it. I hope that eventually I can have a page of graphics that I can share with you all. But first things first!

What is Home School Happenings?

In May of '97 I began a homescooling group in our area. I knew many families who home schooled but most other groups were quite a drive. With some prodding from a few friends our group was formed. I also started a newsletter for our group and called it Home School Happenings. I have always been a big computer buff and after receiving a new and upgraded computer I began surfing the web and the creative juices in me began to flow. So after some looking around I thought I would give my own site a go. I'm still undecided about what all to include here, so be sure you bookmark us and come back often to see what new changes have taken place.
