The Grand Canyon

      Unless you actually see the Grand Canyon, you cannot imagine how awesome, beautiful, and big it really is.  I was standing at this very spot as the sun was going down.  It was something that I could never describe even if I used a whole book of adjectives .

  The Grand Canyon is located outside of Flagstaff, Arizona.  It is one of the most scenic spots in the United States.  

Answer the following questions about the Grand Canyon:

  1. How was the Grand Canyon formed?  Name at least 2 forces that caused its creation.
  2. When was the Grand Canyon created?
  3. Where did all the rock come from?
  4. Why does it look like it does?
