Round 1 |
This game was almost too easy. The only reason we didn't get above 6-0 was because we didn't try. The only reason why this was not a supreme victory was the casuality list. I used my apotechary on #10's NI because I held a healing scroll, which I believed would be enough. Aspen earned his place on the team, but could not stop 3 out of Skull Rippers' 4 casualities from being DEATHS. We lost Lilac, a relatively new member, and our Leader Maple, the most seasoned Line Elf on the team. Luckily Oak was ready to continue her work, so the loss was bearable.

Round 2 |
This was a great match. Aspen was in great shape, and our reputation must have passed ahead of us, 'cause the Dwarf Wizard demanded 210k risk pay (better offer), which the dwarfs could not pay. Dwarf-Elf relations turned out as expected, and the game started with a one-turn riot. After the kickoff, it turned out Acorn's shoes were greased, and his efficiency as a scorer drastically reduced. However, we had the upper hand the entire half. When we scored in our turn 8 we still had a full team, while the dwarfs had three badly hurts: one runner, their diving tackler, one troll slayer; and one deathroller had been knocked down. However, Elmo and Acorn got into a quarrel (I'm the greatest) so Acorn was left out in dwarf turn 8. We lined up a sacrifical line, and while Alder and Teac survived, Elmo was badly hurt. During halftime, we managed to convince the ref that the remaining deathroller really was illegal. The game slowly turned in favor of the tougher dwarfs, and we eventually suffered two SI
s, one healed. In the last turn, the dwarf runner fled into his own half, all the way into one corner, carrying the ball. Acorn, who had failed to dodge past a long beard, stood up, and ran 11 squares to the runner. Woody blitzed the runner, but, even with a reroll, failed to hurt him. Because Kenny (the runner) had sure hands, strip ball was also of no use. I believe that throughout the game, Kenny was only knocked down in one of four attempts or something close to it.
