Us on Mount Hermon, northern Israel.
Just thought we'd say hello and a few words about ourselves.
We enjoy learning about the local animals and plants, in particular we're keen amateur bird watchers and enjoy Israel's location on one of the world's busiest bird migration routes.
Neither of us is trained in the natural sciences but it has over the years become a great passion, and this website grew out of that love. Among our friends we soon found that we had developed a reputation for being the "nature freaks", people would constantly turn to us whenever they saw an interesting bird or flower or needed a recommendation for an outing or weekend away. We are by no means experts, but we started setting up this site in part to answer those questions.
Our thirst for learning and the pleasure we derive from getting out and about in our small country gradually also developed into an interest in photography, and as the varied quality of photos on this site shows, we've come quite a long way in the last decade, but still have far to go.
For now space restrictions do not permit further expansion of this site, but please do check back from time to time as we continue to work on upgrading and improving it.
We've gotten around to setting up a guest book. Please do sign our guestbook.
