Your future is now and WSSA can help. WSSA is your gateway to health, human and social services, today and for years to come. WSSA is an association of members helping each other to improve themselves, the system they work through, and the people they serve.
Quarterly full-day programs and an annual conference meet your educational needs for your professional growth and for current information within the profession. Speakers are nationally known experts, state and local legislators, as well as other Wisconsin or association professionals who craft innovative programs within their areas of expertise.
As a member, you'll meet with others in your profession to discuss current challenges, current research, upcoming legislation, practical application of innovative techniques, and new approaches to serve clients and the public. With a network of fellow professionals and support staff, you share ideas, solve problems, and explore opportunities.
A quarterly newsletter and an annual journal keep you in touch with current human service, economic support, and work and employment issues. You'll receive a special notice of WSSA activities at the state and local levels.
Gain leadership and management experience as an association officer or committee member or as a volunteer author for the statewide newsletter, Update, or The Journal. Numerous committees, made up of members from throughout the state, address your specific areas of interest, and work to keep WSSA current, vibrant and growing. And with a WSSA affiliation, your resume will carry extra credibility.
