self-introduction...
basically a simple girl learning to juggle the multiple layers of life,
i am someone who frequently adopt a more retrospective and reflective approach
to life and its many events.
i
just enjoy quiet moments alone with my thoughts, a book, a comic, or quality
time spent in quiet conversation with my friends.i can hole up in a corner
for an entire day wif my discman, my fav CDs, and a few books and comics
for accompaniment.
mentoring
is one of my greatest passion thus far, and i would willingly make time
for all the kids out of my otherwise packed schedule. while being around
the kids rejuvenate me and makes me feel alive, swimming, my other favorite
activity, allows me to retreat into myself, reflect upon my life and providing
me with one of the most calming sensations i've ever experienced.
throughout
the years, i've acquire a taste for classical literature, local literature,
but most of all non-fiction literature. i've taken to digesting lots of
psychology, sociology, philosophy and especially gender studies books on
top of all the catherine lims and jane austens.
more
recently, i have also discovered the world of japanese anime and manga,
and more especially, the world of fanfiction. i could spend hours tirelessly
following all the plot twists and storylines of the fanfics, and i believe,
some of these amateur authors are REALLY good!
though
i love reading n have a rich store of imagination, i've never ventured further
in literary pursuits other than conjuring up a few poems when i was having
a down period.
