We have been learning about the Abenaki Indians. We had many questions about the life of the Abenaki people. We sent a list of questions to our 5th grade study buddies and they researched the answers for us. They presented their answers to us in many different ways. We visited the Abenaki Tribal Museum together. Mr. Fred Wiseman showed us around the museum and shared a lot of interesting information. An Abenaki "Grandmother" from the Ethan Allen Homestead came to visit and told us what her life was like 100 years ago.
