An introduction to The Hidden Path.

A year or so after receiving my third degree I began to feel as if I was heading in a different direction. I thought that if Wicca had led me to Paganism, then perhaps there was something beyond Paganism. This thought upset me quite a lot however, so I meandered around for a year or so until I finally realized the old path wasn't even there anymore. I decided I was still Pagan, but yet something different than everyone else. I'm still not quite sure what I am. The closest words are mage and pagan. But even those aren't quite right. The truly closest label would be Priest-Mage based upon my theories of the old Avalonian/Atlantean tradition. I'm sure quite a few of you are jumping up and down or shaking your heads at me. That's fine. These are my beliefs... based upon my gut and my meditations. Part of my testing and my task is to learn to trust myself. If you're offended, move on. Go check out another site. If however, you feel a little odd, a little light... a little curious, please read on. I hope through my journey I can help you. Many of the thoughts you will find here were based upon books by Marion Zimmer Bradley. I'm sure she had no more concrete evidence of how things were in these places than I or any of us do. I do however, feel strongly connected to her view. As such, my beliefs is a bit of an attempt at reconstructing a tradition long gone. Although I probably will not be %100 effective, this is the direction I feel I should move in. Once again, I apologize for anyone who's been offended by this.

Some books I recommend reading:
The Mists of Avalon series
Witchlight, Gravelight, et all
The Fall of Atlantis
The Celestine Prophecy
Celtic Myth and Magick
The Spiral Dance
