Upon a Sunset

Waves Tickle our toes,
A breeze blows my hair,
The palms sway,
As tropical birds sing there

Your hand is in mine,
Like that's where it should always be,
I don't dare look at you,
So I stare at the sea.

You put your hand on my cheek,
And turn my eyes to you.
Then you gently kiss me,
A kiss I could't escape even if I wanted to.

Sunset sends orange streaks across the sky,
The clouds are tinged with violet,
And just as the sun hits the water,
The whole ocean turns scarlet.
