About our Organisation
Hariprasad was formed by a group of 6 volunteers, who wanted to do something to help the
poor and needy children in Singapore. Although Singapore is an affluent and developed nation,
there are still some unfortunate children, namely from broken families, lower income families,
troubled families, etc. Hariprasad was conceived to help these children from an early stage
of their life to prevent them from being led astray.

About our Projects
Our Projects include :
Starting a Child Care Centre
The organisation wants to set up a childcare centre for the poor children as there
are many children from needy families who cannot afford the fees after
qualifying for a full day subsidy of $150 per month from the Ministry
of Community Development. Parents would still need to pay about $200 more to
enrol one child in a centre. $200 is a lot of money for poor parents
who have one or more children.
At the centre, priority will be given to poor parents who will pay only a small fee,
say $50. The organisation will further subsidise fees by raising money from well wishers
and charity events.
Organising Cultural Programs
As a community work, we at Hariprasad, have brought in some of the best classical music exponents
to conduct formal lessons on different forms of classical music. These activities are
decentralised at various community centre to reach out the mass.
